Description
The Geosafe App is a tool for simplifying the sign-in and sign-out process for onshore wind farms and monitoring the location of all individuals (employees, contractors and members of the public) whilst present on an onshore windfarm.
The app achieves this by utilising GPS technology to identify when an individual enters and exits a site geofence and by monitoring their movements around the wind farm for anomaly detection.
This app is available for all individuals who intend on visiting an SSE-owned wind farm regardless of reason and should be downloaded, installed and activated prior to entering site.
