Im usually in a hurry when I arrive at the market. I often run in without remembering my reusable bags. The gentle reminder on my phone when I arrive at the stores Ive designated is very helpful. I havent forgotten my bags once since downloading this app. It is definitely well worth the .99¢! Im also doing something good for the environment by no longer using all those plastic and paper bags!
Useful App
I have been using this app for over a week now. The look and functionality are both lovely and straight forward. I have not had to run out of the store to get my bags from the car. Now, if the app can get me to *PUT* my bags in the car before leaving to shop, well, life would be grand.
Small reminder but a huge impact!
Such a simple thing but what a huge impact. I hate having to throw away or recycle all those paper and plastic bags. Well now I dont have too. This app sends me a gentle reminder every time I enter my grocery store parking lot! How does it work? After you download the app you give it access to your location on maps. It then will list all the grocery stores in your area. Check the ones that you frequent. Its that simple! You can even manually add one that is not listed...like a farm share location. Then when you are out running around and decide to finish up your grocery shopping....you pull into the stores parking lot and Viola...a nice CHIME sounds to remind you to take those cloth bags with you. Try it out!
Target has groceries, too.
I bought this app primarily to remind me to bring my bag in from the car when I shop at Target for groceries. But, this app does not recognize Target as a grocery store. I even drove there and clicked on Save this Store. No dice. It is super inconvenient to forget your bag because Target does not bag your groceries (or any items, for that matter), so you need to bring your own bag. Thumbs down.
