Description
From November 7 through November 14, 2015, GLOW (festival of light) will be held for the tenth time. Over 650,000 people visited GLOW festival last year. The city of Eindhoven is hosting this festival each and every year.
App Descriptions:
The Glow App 2015 combines the best methods in mobile technology to deliver an unforgettable experience to this years GLOW attendees. Visitors can learn about the artworks and follow the predefined light tours with help of iBeacons.
Beacon Technology: Proximity based sensors allow visitors to receive relevant notifications at variety of locations. The
beacon technology helps the pre-defined routes to be much more engaging. The notifications can be disabled directly via the app settings.
Live Map: One of the best features of the app revolves around its map and location pecisions. GLOW participants are able to switch between Map and List views. This way, they will find all the programs overviews.
Audio Tours: This year, we have recorded the Lighting Artwork details in two languages (English and Dutch). You can purchase the complete language pack straight from the "Menu" Page.
