Description
To-Go Where? - SL is a very different kind of restaurant rating app. If youre looking to patronize restaurants that make ecologically sound business decisions (and we think that everyone should), then you need information in order to make informed choices. Thats where we come in. You can use the app to help us collect data about the environmental friendliness of local restaurants, including their packaging options, waste separation, and more. Eventually, well use that data to help users choose restaurants that are more responsible. But right now, users can also find information on why certain packaging options are better than others, how to distinguish between types of packaging, and how to report business that violate local laws restricting the usage of plastic packaging items.
For the moment, and for testing purposes, the app works only within San Leandro. But all thats necessary to expand is a slightly larger database of restaurants, and well do that as soon as were sure that the app functions properly.
