Description
A tool to help users keep track of their progress in a walking or running regimen and reach their personal goals. This will help enhance overall wellness and heart health. Also records all routes taken. Includes a full-function pedometer and GPS mapping.
The user can see the progress theyve made toward their goal at all times and right from the first screen.
• To start, choose a saved route or enter a new route from My Routes. A list of completion times user has taken for any previous route will be displayed. Data can also be sorted by date, time, pace and calories burned.
Three primary goal types can be selected: number of steps, miles or calories burned.
• Calculations for calories are based on distance, time and weight. Distance is based on your GPS movement. Pace is based on Distance and Time. Steps are measured by the number of steps taken by the user.
• User can toggle between pedometer and maps at any time.
• Goals have no set timeframe and can be established simply by resetting the goal date and then the app starts counting from that point.
• When current goal is reached, user is notified by “Congratulations. You’ve reached your goal.”
• Goal Getter works best on the iPhone 3G models with built-in GPS. It will not be as accurate on the original iPhone or iPod touch, which dont have built-in GPS. All updates are free.
• GPS signal is only active when user is outside.
Note: If GPS signal is weak, walking calculations will not be completely accurate.
• The pedometer display can be locked when the user is walking. There are also options to stop, pause or start over anytime Goal Getter is being used.
• When hitting the home or lock keys, responding to a text message or phone call, Goal Getter is suspended and prompts user to resume after returning to the app.
• Battery life can be improved when walking by using the locked screen function.
