Gogo Text enables you to send and receive SMS text messages with your actual phone number while inflight, even though your cellular radio is turned off.  All SMS text messages sent and received inflight are passed through your home carrier. Your wireless agreement and SMS plan dictate whether or not you receive additional charges from sending SMS texts through a roaming carrier in the US.
