Description

How far can you hit a golf ball? Prove it using the Golf Shot Distance app! This app relies on your iPhones built in GPS and not some random sprinkler head in the middle of the fairway. Golf Shot Distance is very easy to use. As you go to the tee box all you need to do is press the Start button. This will set your starting location. Then, as usual, crush that drive down the middle of the fairway. When you get to your ball, press the End button and your accurate distance will be displayed. Included Features include: - Calculate shot distances easily and accurately - Show distance in Yards or Meters - Customize the golfers name Upgrade Features available: - Calculate the shot distance for your entire foursome at once. Simply swipe the golfers name left or right to move between all of the golfers. - Customize all four golfers name - View all of the saved shots sorted by the golfers name or by distance - Easily view each golfers average drive distance - Delete a single shot that has been saved or clear them all with a single button *Note: Your device must have built-in GPS to use Golf Shot Distance. You also must allow the app to use GPS location. *This app is for meant OUTDOOR use. The required accuracy may not be able to be obtained indoors.

For free you cant go wrong. This app is awesome and very accurate. I downloaded this app before I went out this morning. Played three holes than downloaded the entire foresome upgrade because my playing partner just had to see how far he was hitting it too. Than two holes later I had to get the saved shots and averages upgrade to see where I was. 283 yard average! This app is awesome for free and well worth the upgrades.

Super easy to use and seems very accurate. I am not the most accurate hitter, so this is nice to see how far Im actually hitting the ball when it lands a fairway over :) Purchased the foursome upgrade and it paid for itself the first time I used it bc I won $1 from my brother on our long drive bet the next hole.

Very useful app. No more attempting to guess how far I drove the ball. Also, the save feature is a nice way to prove to my friends how far I hit it.

Super easy to use. I just press start as Im getting ready to tee off, then hit my drive. I get to ball and press end and hit my next shot. Then after my second shot I have my drives distance waiting for me! Doesnt slow me down one bit on the course. Great app!

Found it inaccurate. Husband has it as well so we both walked the same distance (our driveway to the corner) together as a trial run to learn how to use it. App measured 2 very different lengths: 60 yards and 130 yards. Tried 3 times and never found the distances to be consistent. Will not trust it on the course. Happily, there was no cost. Buyer beware!

I found it accurate. I have another app that does the same thing and sitting on my porch not moving an inch, it said I moved 3 yards. This app said 0.0 yards. An upgrade idea: how about being able to save and average distances per club. Id buy that upgrade.
