The Good News magazine app is a full-version digital edition of the print magazine that is published 6 times a year by the United Church of God. The Good News magazine is a magazine of understanding. In an age where understanding true godly ways of handling lifes challenges is lacking, The Good News provides a critical missing dimension in how to live. We all need to hear good news occasionally. It helps us through the difficulties of everyday life and gives us confidence to face the future. The Good News magazine will give you hope for an uncertain future and show you the Bibles solutions for the crises we see in the news and the difficulties you face in life. The Good News is devoted to covering key news events and trends, it is a news magazine with a difference. It covers the news from a much different perspective—that of the Bible, Gods Word—affording insight and understanding you wont find in other publications. Our articles are written from an all-important biblical perspective on a variety of subjects—prophecy, marriage and the family, Christian living, history, science, lives of individuals mentioned in the Bible, scriptural teachings and analysis of societal and world trends. -- Update: May, 2014 -- Due to increased cost of supporting this app and the decreased downloads - we will be discontinuing this app and not adding any new Good News magazine issues within the app. We hope in the future, to create another app that will pull in the Good News magazine content and also share other content from the ucg.org website. Crashes at startup om ipad2

Works great on my original ipad but on my wifes ipad 2 it crashes at startup while trying to download its intial information.

Looking forward to reading GN on iPad - however when I try to load the magazine, I get a message that says, "Please wait while we download some initial assets". Then it crashes.

Impressive magazine. I like it is free and that even content is free. I also like that it is very smooth and goes fast. It even works during my subway ride. Good job Good News!!!

I wish I could say I read every issue cover to cover, but that would not be true. However, when I do read an issue, I do typically end up reading it cover to cover ... And Im never disappointed. Thank you for publishing this magazine. Ive been blessed by it for many years now.

This me update is super great. I am glad that it also works on my iPhone and it just feels so smooth. You guys at the church are getting better at developing ipad apps I see!!!
