Always crash in "Local Records"

This updated version is not working. It freezes up and crashes while loading. It doesnt work on iPhones with version 7.1.2 and version 9.0. Its sad that I just bought 16 security camera system and the manual tells me to download this app for remote viewing. The older version I downloaded a few weeks ago worked but it asked me to update and I did. Now Im screwed! I need this to be fixed or maybe the camera system needs to be returned.
ALMOST BOUGHT A SECURITY SYSTEM...
Luckily I decided to check out the app...... Looks like its upkeep is a possible issue. Glad I investigated first.
