Helps my Dyslexic Children!!!

Arian 2010 · 15 years ago

This app is soooooo awesome!!! The songs help tremendously to help my children understand grammar better! I recommend this to anyone who has children who are learning disabled!

Good but could be better

singinglouwho · 15 years ago

I love the songs and how they explain the terms but the tests dont go into as much depth as the song does. It explains about possessive nouns but does not test on them, the adjective section demonstrates (er, est) and tells why u do it but never asks the kids to choose and apply the correct one in the tests. How about asking them drop the I or double the last letter??? Why go into it if they dont check comprehension after?? So, When u have answered the 4 very easy questions u are done. Not worth 2.99. They need to test more about the comprehension of the jingles.

Great App!

My grandson love it. Just not enough test questions. More please.

Too much is explained at once

LeonThePC · 13 years ago

There are many problems with this program. This is not geared to a 3rd grader. They explain too many things at once. They should have split the categories up. For example, the Nouns section explains over 5 different grammer rules in 1min 15secs. It should have been split into (Common Noun & Proper Noun), (singular, plural & irregular), Collective nouns, possesive nouns. It seems that it was easier for them to make the song by putting all these things in it. They should have spent more effort on this program. The free version does a better job because it only explains one part of the noun. But that one also has problems. The songs are too fast in the free and paid versions. Also, there are not enough questions. The free version only gives you 3 to 5 question to review. I would expect a lot more for the paid version. Not worth $2.99.

Disappointed

Famwith3 · 13 years ago

I was very disappointed only 4 questions. I was going to use this as a home school teaching aid but not at near the right level. There are better aps that are free. Dont waste money.

Screen problems

shawks1 · 10 years ago

Why doesnt it take up the whole screen? You cant see the whole thing?

Worst app

Bobbanne · 10 years ago

This is the worst app I ever paid for. Called every number I could find and got a run-a-round from all, especially Pearson the education company. Couldnt get my money back. The app only shows up on part of the screen and will not rotate to any other orientation. Therere no settings to fix it. The free introduction app was great. It only works on my original iPad and I cant find any place to download it now. One more thing, this app gives too much information at once. It does not help in the least bit.
