Learn to play any iTunes song!

Guitar Vision takes a radical new approach to guitar tablature:

It attempts to extract guitar tracks out of any song in your iTunes library and transcribe it into guitar chords through patent-pending polyphonic pitch detection technology, while you hear the music.

★★★★ WHAT THE CRITICS SAY ★★★★

- “Game-changing Guitar Teacher.” — ShortList magazine
- “This guitar-teaching app sounds too good to be true...” — The Guardian
- “Killer App." - Apps4iDevices

Whereas just about any tablature application relies on midi playback or synthesized music, Guitar Vision is finally the app that combines guitar notation with the thrill of real music recordings.

The aim of Guitar Vision is to be the most intuitive and enjoyable way for guitarists to learn and practice any song. The user interface is very simple and understandable at a glance: The first you’ll see is the music browser which displays your iTunes music library. Click a song and you are ready to play as the analysis happens in real time, while you hear the song.

Guitar Vision will display chords and notes fingering on a guitar fretboard, synchronized to the music. To the left you can watch rhythm guitars and chord diagrams. To the right you can watch the lead guitar. Above it you’ll see the chord progression of the song.

The chord diagrams make use of color-coding to make it easy for you to memorize and visualize chord progressions in your mind’s eye. Related chords will have related colors, and contrasting chords will have contrasting colors.

Looping lets you practice sections of a song, whereas tempo control allows you to slow down to fit your pace without changing pitch.

Note, Guitar Vision is not yet compatible with iCloud music.
