Gunther Sabbagh & Stamina aka Elias Merheb are considered by many to be the Heart & Soul of the Beirut underground. Since 2006, they’ve held a residency at B018, playing every weekend to a packed dance floor. G&S also hold a star residency on Mix FM (Officially the #1 Radio Station in the Middle East) where their show airs every Saturday night. Gunther & Stamina performed in the biggest electronic festivals in the Middle East such as Distant Heat (Jordan, 2006) and Creamfields (Abu Dhabi, 2012). Gunther & Stamina have played along with such notable international artists as John Digweed, Richie Hawtin, Danny Howells, Sasha & Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Deep Dish, Carl Cox, and Sander Kleinenberg.
When it comes to electronic music production, Gunther and Stamina have released EPs and tracks on major labels of the likes of Balance, Baroque, Bad Pony Records, Apollo, Replug and Ready Mix Records.
They mixed and compiled 2 albums on Ready Mix records:“ B018: Volume1”, and “Already Mixed Volume 12”.
In 2012, they created a fresh new project with Big Al that goes by the name of Audio Lab and the rest of their story has yet to be written.
