Description

Use the most up to date, clinically validated method to calculate the one year risk of bleeding in your patient with atrial fibrillation. Based upon the recent Euro Heart Survey, the HAS-BLED score is recommended by multiple sets of guidelines as the most accurate method to assess bleeding risk. This easy to use program allows you to stratify patients with atrial fibrillation as either low or high risk for bleeding. Use this data to help guide anticoagulation decisions and improve your patient care! Use this program in combination with our Birmingham (CHA2DS2-VASc) risk calculator to determine the optimal anticoagulation regime for your patient with atrial fibrillation. (also available from the App Store, search for Birmingham Calculator or Hefesoft)

this application complements the Birmingham Calculator (also from HEFESOFT) well. easy to understand layout and quick results. exactly whats needed.

Good but needs improvement

Good, but limited as definitions of the risk factors are not available (liver dysfunction is not a "yes" for just any degree of liver dysfunction. In addition, it would be VERY useful if the risk score gave a description of what it means ( i.e. Score of 4 indicates x% chance of major bleed per year etc...) These are easy updates and for the price of app should be included.

Review.

Works ok but not worth the dollars. Would buy for 99 cents.

Not good

Bad app. Only 3 screens and cant even spell labile correctly. Need to know what exactly defines abnormal renal function or labile INRS and various other criteria. Wexford calculate app is great. I wish it had has-bled score on it. This is way to expensive at 3.99 for the poor quality of the app.

Id give it zero if I could!!

It cost me $4.99 and caused my phone to repeatedly crash. Does not appear to be compatible with iPhone 6S. Couldnt get it to work at all. How do I get my money back?

Doesnt work on my iPhone 6s.
