Hatzalah is a volunteer ambulance organization with chapters all around the world.
This app puts an emergency Hatzalah button on your home screen:
Open the app, tap on the call button in the top left corner. Its that easy.
You can choose which hatzalah chapter to call by choosing one from the list, and tapping "Use as emergency number." in the details view.

Hatzalah uses your GPS to ensure that you are always able to call the closest dispatcher at the tap of a button. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
