Description

This application shows the liver in a transparent body and then flies into the liver down to level of the sinusoids. The user follows a few HCV virions and sees one of them attach to a hepatocyte while the other remains in the sinusoids. At this point a 3D hepatocyte model appears with six numbered touch points. The app contains six chapters: 1. The HCV Virus 2. Binding and Entry 3. RNA Translation, Polyprotein, and Suppression of Innate Immunity. 4. RNA Replication 5. Viral Assembly and Release 6. Summary The touch points will open sequentially to reveal a chapter. The user can start and stop each chapter using the touch screen controls.
