NO HASTHAGS AND NO MENTIONS

SYanni · 12 years ago · v1.0

Its so disappointing that Hashtags and Mentions do not work in this app. This totally made it useless and not worth the dollar.

Needs a Few Adjustments.

I like the concept. I bought the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Heads. Itd be great if they all worked the same. Facebook and Instagram auto hide feature doesnt work. Instagram and Twitter dont display profile photos as the head. Twitter has an option to Show Menu Icon but Facebook and Instagram do not. Also, itd be nice to push the heads to the back as I dont always want them covering other apps. Im hoping there will be updates.

Great app for vieiwng Twitter

bherzberg96 · 12 years ago

This is by far the best and most convienent app Ive used for viewing Twitter. Im always looking for ways to access social networks easily without using a web browser. Menubar apps dont feel native and I flat out dont like them. Head for Twitter (as well as Facebook, Instagram, & Gmail) is a great way to view Twitter (or any other social network) when youd like to, while staying transparent when youre doing other things. Keep up the good work SquidMelon!

Takes up the entire screen

When this app is open it covers the entire screen making other open windows unavailable. Sort of useless.

More Useful Features

So far I like the Head apps for Twitter and Facebook better than other options. However, they do need to be consistent which they are not and there are a few features that would make them perfect. The fact that they come out of hiding every single mouse move is annoying and the inability to have them rest below other apps (such as a browser window) is quite annoying as well. Features Needed - Option to keep in dock - Menu Bar Option - Option to keep in background and not show on top of ALL apps. - Notifications (hate having to click on it to see updates so even a badge notification would be great).
