Designed by Discovery, HealthID is an innovative tool to help doctors seamlessly assist their Discovery Health patients during consultations.
HealthID application features allow you to:
- Access your patients Electronic Health Record.
- View your patients personal and benefit details.
- Complete an electronic Chronic Illness Benefit application form.
- Prescribe medicine for chronic and acute conditions.
- Access to care management and intervention programmes for Mental Health, Diabetes, Cardiovascular and HIV.
- Call Me feature provides you with the opportunity to request a call back for any assistance you may require whether it be clinical, technical or administrative.
- Electronically refer a patient to another healthcare professional, with automatic approval on selected plans.
- Complete a hospital discharge form for your patient that contains all relevant clinical discharge information, as well as additional information. The completed form is available as a PDF that you can share with relevant healthcare professionals.
- Get consent from your patients to view their Electronic Health Record in real time through various consent channels, therefore ensuring you remain compliant with your professional indemnity cover.
Note: HealthID is only for doctors who practise in South Africa. You will not be able to use this application if you do not fall into this category of users.
