HFT HUD is a ballistic calculator developed specifically for airguns and HFT discipline. It calculates the necessary wind and drop correction for given distance, elevation and atmospheric condtions and displays the aim point on the image of scope reticle while handling all the calculations for different zoom settings. It also shows customizable range finding overlay on the scope reticle. The application is highly optimized for use on the course: keyboard input has been almost completely eliminated, etc. Custom scope definition with specific reticle images as well as pellet definitions can be easily created on computer and then uploaded to the application over iTunes file sharing. Various metric and imperial units are supported for all input values and can be freely mixed (i. e. pellet speed in fps, air pressure in hPa and wind speed in km/hr). Ballistic calculations are highly accurate and results comparable to standard calculators such as JBM or Chair Gun.
