If youre worried about consuming too much sugar and want to learn how to read food labels more effectively, or if you wish to educate and inform others about sugar content, this app is perfect for you.
Available also for Apple Watch and Mac, this app allows users to easily convert a given sugar content in grams into the equivalent number of teaspoons or sugar cubes. The results are displayed both visually, with images of actual teaspoons or sugar cubes, and numerically.
Many people struggle to understand the various units (grams, milliliters, percentages) on food nutrition labels. Specifically, do you really know how much sugar 32 grams is? Probably not.
Presenting sugar content visually makes it much easier to grasp and can be quite eye-opening. Try using the app with those around you, and youll be surprised at how much we all underestimate the sugar content in our foods.
