The app does not work (no update of stock prices from Yahoo) which is quite a pity since its the core feature of the app... In addition no support from the customer service Ive contacted. Just avoid it

Doesnt work
Experience with iPad 1
Ich kann leider nur das Interface der App beurteilen, dieses ist in meinen Augen ansprechend. Beim Versuch, eine Aktie (Beispiel Apple) einzutragen zeigte sich jedoch, dass die App am iPad 1 bei mir nicht funktioniert. In keinem Fall wurden die Kurse aktualisiert, in keinem Fall wurden bei mir die Bewertung der Einzelposten vorgenommen. Mein Fazit ist daher: Zeitverschwendung - ein Stern.
Pointless?
There are two good things about this app: its free; and you can enter stocks you bought years ago (and sold) to discover how much of a profit you might have if you hadnt panicked with the rest of the market. If you currently hold stock in shares it may be useful in terms of letting you know the fluctuation of the market, but it has no capacity to record the sale of stocks, and the history of profit and loss on such a transaction. Portfolio Live is better, but it did too many "improvements" and now stock prices on that app are no longer live.
iBank Investor
Worked great until it froze. No response from technical support when I emailed them. Can only monitor one portfolio at a time. No stock note field
Needs work
Worked fine until I deleted some sold stocks, then the whole portfolio got scrambled - company names mismatched with ticker symbols. Tech support was no help - advised me to update, but I have the latest version 1.0.1.
Unstable
Keeps crashing. Unable to setup more than one portfolio. I had to uninstall it because the app was unstable.
