Description
The dinosaurs were extremely varied and dominated terrestrial ecosystems for 160 million years.
They were characterized mainly by being oviparous and hard, scaly skin (although it was discovered that many had feathers).
Many had additional physical defenses were developed with the passage of the Mesozoic era, such as horns, claws, horn peaks, armor, etc.
Size variation is typical of the group. Some genera were bipedal, others quadrupedal and some, like Ammosaurus and Iguanodon, could take both types of locomotion.
It is assumed that populations of herbivores, carnivores, omnivores and insectivores were the proportions of the present fauna.
