Description
iDML Lite allows you to preview layout of InDesign idml documents on iOS devices.
It shows layout, text content and embedded graphics. You can see the exact position of text frames and their content, position of graphic frames and linked objects. When the graphic is embedded in the document, it is shown in the preview.
This presents a useful way of reviewing document progress when on the move.
The stories in the document can be opened for reading, making the review more comfortable than in pdf. The app can get documents directly from your teams dropbox, making you up to date with the work progress at any moment.
Upgrade to full version, where the text in the document can be edited and saved is available.
The app contains neither InDesigns paragraph composer, nor advanced image processing tools. The preview will not reflect text position 1:1 with InDesign and some vector graphic attributes are simplified. PDF preview gives you more accuracy, iDML gives you a better idea about document composition.
