Send & Receive Fax App- iFax at Mac App Store analyse

24.99 every month, and I not only don’t use the app… I deleted it. I don’t even know the password to access iFax (not that I want to use it) I don’t want the subscription!. Something is wrong. Calling Apple Support tomorrow.

I did the trial and then have tried to cancel for 4 months and they keep charging me 16.95 a month. Just got off the phone with customer service again and said that I have tried to cancel and they will NOT refund me anything!!! SO I just paid $100. to send one fax that I had a million problems sending!!

When I first used this app a few years ago, it was reliable - expensive but reliable. Now, it is unreliable, often eats credits and fails fax numbers, reporting them as not good. The app eats the fax credits even on failed faxes. And, customer support either doesnt respond or is slow to respond. Looks like a trip to Kinkos. 12/7/18 - received an Apple-forwarded response that my issue had been addressed by the developer... which is true - over a day later - ended-up spending 2x money on a fax because I had to have it sent and received in a timely fashion with a confirmation receipt and it was not. So the dev *did* respond just late enough to cost me money and didnt even offer a credit refund. No more iFax for me.

Non si riesce a sapere il motivo della mancanza della ricevuta. Testato su numeri fax certi. Alcune volte passano ed altre no...ma i crediti diminuiscono comunque

I reached out to their support with screen shots. I got an email back confirming what I already knew. I had an active subscriuption with unlimited credits. That is what the application shows. I sent 1 page test to my doctor just to test it was working. It sent & delivered just fine. However, when I tried to send a 27 page fax of test results to my doctor & it would not send without purchasing $10 for 200 credits (smallest increment I could buy). It said I needed to buy 162 in credits to send. It said I tripped some Fair Use limit in their terms. Apparently there is a throttle on a single fax? The alternative I could come up with would have been to break apart the PDF into single PDFs for each 1-2 page test result. Which I would have to put a cover letter on EACH of those so the test results dont get mixed in with someone elses. Doing so would have likely DOUBLED the amount of pages I needed to send and who knows what clause I would hit at that point & how many credits I would have to buy. So instead of going to that trouble & gambling it would work… I bought the $10 in credits. I subscribed in Dec 2017. So I am days away from my renewal and I am definitely not doing the 1 year subscription again. If iFax had their system smart enough to look at the volume of the fax number & easily saw the extremely low volume of usage on this line. Therefore could easily have relaxed the rule on fair use. This seems rather deliberate that no matter how little you use and how much you pay… larger faxes are not welcome without paying more.

I have used an app before that "just worked." This one is not working. Website wont load. Contact Support wont load. Im going to have to cancel my 7 Free Day Trial, hope that works better than the app.
