“iFoley Footsteps” is the first app of the iFoley family. It is a mobile device application that will allow users to intuitively trigger and sync sound effects in real time.
The application comes with professionally recorded sound effects ready to use, under Creative Commons license.
By simply selecting the type of surface and type of shoe, recreate your foley footsteps sounds like a foley artist would do!! let your device become a foley trap.
TAP on the screen to create the footsteps and use the slider to add reverb to your sound. From a dry signal to a wet reverb blend.
iFoley will randomize every tap from an array of sounds to make your footsteps feel real.
There are many types of surfaces to choose from:
-Wood
-Carpet
-Tile
-Concrete
-Sand
-Grass
-Gravel
-Snow
Sync them with you audiovisual project in any non-linear editor that records audio like Final Cut, Pro Tools, Logic, etc. Simply connect the output of the device to your laptop or audio interface.
The application is targeted to help audiovisual editors, journalists, film, TV and audio students and for audio editorial purposes.
