NaviLogic iGlide - the Soaring Navigation app for iOS
iGlide is a soaring navigation App with advanced functionality that is amazingly easy to use. iGlide supports glider pilots during a competition, a cross-country flight, or just during short recreational flights.
iGlide comes in three editions at three price-points. Starting with "iGlide lite" and "iGlide advanced" up to "iGlide pro". All apps can be upgraded later-on by paying the price difference in an in-app-purchase.

Je lai utilisé durant un an. Pas de problèmes particuliers. Léquipe répond rapidement pour les questions que lon se pose. Attention pour de belles trajectoires en spirale lors des deloggage des vols, il faut coupler liPhone avec le FLARM. Je compte utiliser la version compét cette année. A+

So nicht brauchbar
Wenn schon beschrieben dann sollte sich das Programm auch wirklich nur auf den Start-Flugplatz beziehen und nicht in der Luft dann ständig umzuspringen auf andere nähere erreichbare Plätze bzw. auch immer mal wieder wild auf Walldorf. Für 20 Euro kann ich doch da etwas mehr verlangen. Und als Beta-Tester bin ich mir zu schade. Die Karte ist o.k., das Herunterladen über WiFi hat aber ca 2 Stunden gedauert. Ich hab das Programm auch im Auto mitfahren lassen und die Höhenabweichung zum GND war nie mehr als 20 m, trotz benutztem Iphone GPS. Also damit kann man gut leben. Aber ansonsten nachbessern und ein Beispiel nehmen am Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von Airnav Pro. Das Programm benutze ich schon die 2. Saison mit dem eingebauten GPS und es funktioniert super.
Meine Wahl für die Saison 2011
Schon die ersten Versionen sahen sehr gut aus, nach ein paar Updates und dem Upgrade ist iGlide advanced kombiniert mit dem iPod und der TomTom Car Kit Halterung jetzt meine Ausstattung für diese Saison und hat den WinMobile-PNA abgelöst. Die Lite Version ist zum Genussfliegen völlig ausreichend, aber mir fehlte die Möglichkeit der Streckenplanung, und ich finde, dass die automatische Windberechnung auch und gerade in der Lite-Version integriert sein sollte. Allen Versionen ist aber gemein: Sehr übersichtliches Interface, schnell, mit sehr viel eingebauter Intelligenz unter der Oberfläche, aber ohne Schnörkel. Durch die Multitouch-Bedienung erfreulich einfach zu benutzen. Die Darstellung ist sehr klar, klarer als alle anderen Segelflugprogramme, die ich kenne. iGlide bietet genau das, was man zum Fliegen wirklich braucht. Wenn das angekündigte Interface zu Logger, Flarm etc. kommt, bleiben kaum Wünsche offen. Dann werde ich wahrscheinlich auch die Competition Version kaufen. Top App! Weiter so!
