Description
iGro is a mobile App that promotes development of ‘Soft’ or ‘Life’ skills. It is a complete platform for young people and teachers with a sole focus on delivery of key skills messages on how you can learn, develop and improve.
One of the main hurdles when completing college or job applications is actually remembering all of the relevant experiences that helped a student develop his/her skills. So iGro has developed an achievement capture tool which allows young people to retain those key CV building moments and activities.
iGro also allows you to set goals to develop a specific skill. The app encourages the setting of deadlines and SMART objectives.
Peer comment - you will be able to comment on your friends achievements. The types of feedback maybe be encouragement, congratulatory or quite simply some advice on how to improve a specific skill. Showing empathy to your friends and peers is in itself a skill which is well learned and practiced. It’s fundamental in forming both social and working relationships.
