Exporting your image to CSS as Base64-encoded strings circumvents additional HTTP requests, which also helps you speed up your mobile HTML5 applications. Because Img2B64 uses standard OS X image libraries, you can also perform other image conversions, such as PSD-to-PNG, and then those images to Base64 strings and back again.
