Yes, it has terms that might be useful for some, but it lacks interactivity and design that ought to be built into an app of this nature.
Disappointing!
This app definitely needs more development and interactivity. Some of the definitions are inaccurate and the design is lacking. Could be better.
Great Resource!
I am just starting with instructional design. I was looking for a good resource with all the terms and I could not find anything. Finally somebody came up with an app like this. It is really helpful for somebody like me. I can look up a term quickly and The definitions are easy to understand. The app includes a huge amount of information related to instructional design. It was absolutely a great buy! Michaela
Makes me look smart
No more searching the web to figure out what my boss or client is talking about. Good tips along with the definitions. Easy to use and the icon is just too cute!!
completely awesome
I love this app. Im a student and have a hard time learning all the lingo associated with the field of instructional design and development. This app has allowed me to figure out what people are talking about during webinars or online lectures. I dont have to stop and ask a question or look it up in a search engine. Its easy to use, reasonably priced, and the design is good.
Sort of iPad
This app is NOT fully compatible with iPad, as the developer suggests. It was designed only for the iPhone and iPod. If you install it on an iPad you cannot autorotate. To increase the size of the app, you need to select the 2x button in the bottom Rh corner of the iPad. As for its use: It is a very simple glossary of terms that are used with Instructional Design (ID) technologies. If you are new to ID and dont mind that the app is too small for the expected use on an iPad, then it may be of value. "Design Universally, Design for Accessibility"
Great Reference
Ive been doing ID for about 10 years, and this is the single best reference Ive found.
