Intervals is a great companion for any activity; you can customize the six programmable workouts in a variety of ways to match the activity you are performing. Intervals switches between hard and easy segments allowing you to maintain a varied activity without having to keep looking at your watch.
Programs include:
★ Constant - keep up a predictable hard/easy routine
★ Linear - progressively increasing difficulty
★ Saw - shorter sets of increasing difficulty with breaks
★ Pyramid - ramp up and then down with breaks
★ Sine - gradually work up and then taper back down
★ Random - for those workouts when you want to keep on your toes
