IntoScience is the digital learning resource that engages students and empowers teachers in their love of science. As students work their way through the activities, they build up a complete DNA on which elaborations they do or do not understand, a profile of their knowledge, application and reasoning abilities, inquiry points to track their depth of participation and inquiry and challenge questions for each topic so they are graded with a mark. Each student receives their own customisable 3D avatar, research laboratory, observatory and biodome. The course includes over 150 inquiry based activities, simulations and experiments in 3D, as well as a range of core learning activities and hundreds of HD videos. Students can also compete against each other in a multi-player online science quiz match called The 3rd Degree. All student work and results are saved showing progress in individual topics, across scientific fields as well as cognitive skills like knowledge, application and reasoning.
