Description

This app is an iOS port for iperf3, which is the most commonly used network testing and performance computation tool. Iperf is a tool to measure maximum TCP bandwidth, allowing the tuning of various parameters and UDP characteristics. Features - Compatible with iperf3 in other platforms - Run as iperf3 client or server - Customize iperf3 arguments - Display Wi-Fi interface link speed and SSID IMPORTANT This application is based on iperf 3.6, which is not compatible with the legacy iperf (version 1.x and 2.x). And it may have some minor issues with the other iperf3 versions.

Not compatible with Original iPerf

Couldnt get it to run with iPerf in Linux or macosx. UDP Mode doesnt Seem to work either

Awesome app, does all I need. Of course you have to make sure versions are compatible, but then the apps works flawlessly. A great way to test the connection quality with your iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately the app doesnt work in the background or when the screen is turned off. This should be implemented or at least the screen should be prevented from turning off automatically.

Iperf error!!!

I have problems when trying to connect airmagnet survey proffesional edition version 8.7 to your Iperf Iphone app that is in server mode. On iphone i get message "iperf3: error - unable to receive parameters from client: " and on my laptop airmagnet app in the same time I get message "connection reset by peer". When i install Iperf 2.0.5-3 on other laptop, it connects without problems with airmagnet app. Please help me solve this issue ASAP!

Very handy tool to test your network condition. To those who cant get the app running, it works with IPERF3 only. BTW. If you click on the info icon at the top left corner, you will find a brief statement regarding the IPERF version issue.
