Description
Ireland’s 7th term as President of the Council of the European Union ran for six months from January to June 2013. To mark the occasion, the Irish staff of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, organised a number of social, cultural and sporting events traditional to Ireland.
This app provides users with information about activities which took place during the six month period along with a quiz so you can test your knowledge of the Irish Presidency, the Joint Research Centre and famous Irish scientists.
Users of this app can also learn about what the Irish do at the Joint Research Centre which has as its mission to provide customer-driven scientific and technical support for the conception, development, implementation and monitoring of European Union policies.
