IsabelSoftware for iPhone : A must have app for "EBM aware" GPs !
Simplesmente não baixem
É um caça-níquel. Mal explicado no resumo de apresentação do app.
Interesting, but not fully realized
This app is an interesting attempt at allowing a physician to generate a more comprehensive differential than one would normally constitute on the fly. However, with no ranking of diagnoses by probability (either via test PPV/NPV, or demographics), it becomes a simple laundry list utility. Clinical information is handled in a simplistic OR Boolean regardless of context, and is thus over-inclusive. There is no linking to the popular BMJ best practice or UpToDate apps to streamline workflow, nor is there a checklist to tick off unlikely diagnoses and refine the list.
I did not buy and do not use this app.
I read about this app in a journal, they said it was excellent, but cumbersome. I went to download it and was struck by several things: one, this hasnt been updated since January 2014. Two, there are very few reviews. Three, I would have liked a short trial to be able to see how it works for me, definitely dont want to pay for that opportunity.
Fabulous - A Must-Have for Docs and NPs
The Isabel App has helped diagnose our challenging cases -- when we just dont know what diagnosis the patient with multiple symptoms has. The ability to access the Isabel tool via my iPad and iPhone has been priceless. Nurse practitioners and doctors are able to catch cases of cancer with the help of Isabel. This app is a must-have for clinicians.

I have used the computer version of Isabel and have always found it incredibly helpful. This app makes using Isabel on my iPad that much easier to use. Great response from patients as I talk with them about their care. Great links to medical knowledge at your fingertip. Thanks!!
Isabel mobile!
The only thing better than Isabel is Isabel mobile! Im using this on the fly for diagnosis support in real time on rounds. Its great!
