Keeping track of your resources, quotes and how to format them can be downright daunting. iSource does quick work of formatting bibliography entries and in-text citations for you, saves these formatted entries all in one place and is simlpe and easy to use. iSource even includes a list of the most common formatting rules for you to use as a reference guide. Using iSource is simple - choose a resource type like a book or encyclopedia, enter the required resource information like Author and web address, and iSource will take care of the rest. Save your citations in the app after they’re generated for your later use. iSource includes the Guide which includes a list of the most common rules to remember when formatting bibliographies and in-text citations. It’s an invaluable resource meant to help you save time when looking up formatting rules. This list will include more rules in future iSource updates. To create a finished bibliography, simply copy the formatted citations into your favourite word processor (like Pages or Word), listed alphabetically. iSource APA assumes you have a basic knowledge of bibliographies, in-text citations, and the APA format. This app also strictly adheres to the Publication Manual of the American Psychology Association version 6.

Totally unreliable

Even on a simple entry, this app does not follow APA conventions. It gives the authors full first name, rather than initial, doesnt allow for which edition, and does not indent. Other free citation engines, though still not totally reliable, are much closer -- and dont cost $2.99!

Great start but is it possible to add multiple authors? Maybe I missed it. Also, how about a journals area? Hope to see these in the future. Good start tho ESP for the price.

This was SO disappointing. Very limited this has four types of references to generate. This was a good idea but as is, this is crap.

iPad ap needed!

I made the mistake of buying the ap without looking too close. Sine I am working on papers on my iPad, I really need to have an iPad version. The ap looks like it could be good but I am not going to mess around with the iPhone version and it annoys me to have the low pixel quality on my iPad. Are their plans in the works for this?

Ok, you cannot add more than one author per book and it does not italicize the book titles, you have to do that yourself. Use Son of Citation Machine for free on the web instead.

For all of us college students that need to write in APA format, buying this app will only complicate the writing process. Stick with PERRLA until pages comes up with a similar template.
