iStory is a new spin on interactive fiction and storytelling. Youll love being able to choose your own path each and every time you play through. But thats not all! iStory includes StoryScript, which takes the interactive story telling genre to the next level. Random events, variable tracking, and even entire text games are possible! I have created 4 sample adventures to show what iStory is capable of: *Mission To The Moon *Cross The River *Magic Prediction Ball *Zombie Madness To create an iStory, use iStory to register your iPhone or iPod Touch. Then, you can create and play iStories on the iStory web site. Once your iStory is created, Youll be able to play it on your iPhone or iPod Touch. der kaum den ermäßigten Preis wert ist. Obacht, um eine Story schreiben zu dürfen hat man sich erstmal bei google zu registrieren (ungelogen!), dann wird man auf eine website umgeleitet, bei der man sich erstmal einer Einlog-Zeremonie unterzieht, und nun endlich darf man online auf einer website (jawohl!) versuchen, einen Text zu komponieren. Nix mit intuitivem Benutzerinterface, nix mit applelike, nicht mit ipodtouch. Schlimmer als Steinzeit-MS-DOS (aber ohne den Charme von Flint und Wilma). Bilder importieren ist zwar versprochen, geht aber vom iPod aus schon mal gar nicht. Der Blödsinn geht noch weiter: Jede Story muss bei den website-Betreibern zur Zustimmung eingereicht werden (submit for approval), bevor sie nach gnädiger Genehmigung möglicherweise auf dem iPod von ihrem Autor gelesen werden darf. Diese Genehmigungsprozedur dauert übrigens Tage, ich warte immer noch. Da ist es leichter, ein Touristenvisum für Nordkorea zu bekommen als mit diesem mißglückten tool seine eigene Story zu lesen. Und falls du dir von diesem Stückchen Weichware etwa eine Hilfe beim Storyschreiben erwartest: Pustekuchen. Dies ist das erste Programm ( welch ein Euphemismus für dieses Teil!), dass ich bezahlt habe und trotzdem lösche.

Access to write and publish your stories! You CANNOT AT PRESENT WRITE YOUR STORIES OFFLINE, NOR CAN YOU READ YOUR STORIES OFFLINE! "EVERYTHING IS DONE ONLINE" Apparently the option to be able to write and then post to the site online is a possibility but the date this will happen is still TBA! Ive been waiting for MONTHS!

If you are like me, an adventurer who seeks thrills in the pages of a great book, but someone who also likes to make their own decisions about the outcome, this is the product for you. As a life long fan of choosing my own adventure, this app fits me like a glove, and it will fit you like a glove too, or if it doesnt you can turn to page 8 where it will fit you like a nice, warm sock!

Great app! Brings back so many memories. The ability to create stories just shows the makers of this app really want to give users their moneys worth. A starbucks latte never gave me this much enjoyment and those cost more than this app. Great job iStory team!

Reminds me of old times with choose your own adventure books. The create feature is just perfect for getting more content for everyone. Id like to see some real books loaded into this. Also, support for animations and sounds would be a nice feature.
