Description

iSurf BrainView is a Brain MRI tutor based on the MRI automatic segmentation produced by FreeSurfer. FreeSurfer is a software package developed by investigators at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. This App uses its automatic segmentation to produce an automatic atlas of neuroimaging based on T1 MRI Images. A great tool for teaching brain MRI and for learning neuroanatomy.

Achei interessante. Vale a pena ter pelo menos para conhecer o que nem sempre você estuda em livros. Seria bom que tivesse especificado o nome de cada região pra que a gente entenda melhor.

Mostra boas imagens de RM, mas não identifica os giros cerebrais chamando tudo de córtex indistintamente e o mesmo acontece com o corpo caloso, capsulas interna e externa, insula, etc que recebe o nome de substancia branca sem diferenciar o que cada um e! Como esta e muito genérico ainda!

O aplicativo apresenta imagens de ressonância magnética simples e dinamizadas, além de visualizações tridimensionais e teste, que facilitam sobremaneira o aprendizado de temas neurocientíficos, notadamente Neuronatomia e Neurologia, para estudantes de Medicina e demais áreas da Saúde. Nesse ímpeto, os recursos do aplicativo podem ajudar também no desenvolvimento de apresentações e, por fim, um outro atrativo seu: é um aplicativo brasileiro!
