Description

iSwallow™ is a personal rehabilitation assistant (PRA) that was developed to assist patients who are undergoing rehabilitation for swallowing disorders (dysphagia). The application was designed to be used only under the supervision of a swallowing clinician (speech pathologist, physician, nurse, physical or occupational therapist). The clinician can develop a personalized swallowing program that is appropriate for a particular patient by choosing from a comprehensive menu of swallowing exercises. The clinician can then program the device to alert the patient when it is time to perform their swallowing exercise. iSwallow™ will be carried by the patient on a mobile device and will alarm and alert the patient when it is time to perform their exercise. The app will then take the patient through their personalized exercise regimen. Videos, audio, and text instruction are provided within the app to instruct the patient on accurate exercise technique. Information on patient compliance will be recorded within the app for later assessment by the clinician.

No sound

My app will not produce any sound. Exchanged multiple emails with tech support by all they could do was try to blame my iPad or my stupidity about the unit and my inability to turn the sound on or off. I attempted to re-down load the app to no avail. I love the app and use it so much that I am willing to buy it again just to get one that works. But, I cant even get that to happen. They dont seem to want to deal in reality that something is wrong with the app and just want to blame the user. I really want it fixed. AAAAhhhhhghgghghghghggg!!!!!
