Id paid $1.99 for this app to check my direct express balance"thats all it does" and it works fine well worth the price. The reason it dont get 5 Stars is the ads.
No good! Password wont work.
After MANY tries, app wont recognize password that was created on the on-line account. Cant assign a specific password with this app. Must be the same password. Needs fixed for a good rating!

Locked Out App
I had emailed customer service week ago and later that day someone emailed me back with a phone number. I later called the number and a gentleman answered the phone and he quickly began to help me. He had helped me to reset my password and he also asked me if I had any ideas on other apps that might be handy. I strongly recommend using customer service if youre ever locked out.

Absolutely Amazing!!!
App works absolutely the way they said it would. Customer support is out of this world!!!! This app has made my life much easier. Beside having to call, go through the automated system, or go to the website and go through getting logged on and having to shuffle through pages to see my balance. Bit not anymore!! Now I just type in my pin for the app and POOF like magic, theres my balance!! Id have paid more for the app and at $2.99 its a STEAL!! I recommend this app to anyone who uses direct express!! 2 thumbs up for the developers of the app as well, great job guys/gals!!!
Over and above
A couple weeks ago I had issues accessing my disabled sons SSI account via the app. The Direct Express folks connected me to the "technical folks" who could work my issue. What I did not know is that I was talking to the actual developers of the app and they walked me through every step to get reconnected. Along the way we jointly identified a bug on the app that led to a fix. It was fun to troubleshoot the problem together and great to work with folks who not only want to solve problems for the customer, they want the best app experience possible. They achieved both. Tech folks and non tech folks tend to have a natural communication barrier. These guys worked hard to cut through that and provide very good customer service. A great lesson for anyone in that line of work. Nice work!
