iWavit Cox at Mac App Store analyse

The "iWavit Cox" app turns the iPhone (or iPad or iPod touch) into an IR Remote for controlling Cox Cable boxes and digital cable DVR units. Specifically, this is a "Virtual Remote" that replaces Remote Model # URC7820B00-MOT, 7055004, 003932. The iWavit introduces the concept of "Virtual Remotes". Swipe left-right between 4 screens to get to all the buttons. Virtual Remotes have several notable benefits over their real-world cousins: 1. Get rid of clutter from your living room table! 2. Buttons are large and easy to hit, and easily seen in the easily seen in the dark. 3. Increase your range to over 300 ft, using the optional iWavit USB dongle & IR Lighter. 
 When you press the buttons on the iWavit Cox app, IR signals will be emitted from the front of the iWavit Attachment. All buttons on this remote have pre-programmed IR codes, but you can also reprogram them with the iWavit Attachment. On top of this, it is possible to use the (optional) iWavit USB dongle and IR Lightbar as a "RF-to-IR Extender". This hardware is part of the "iWavit Premium" and BLUETOOTH Smart "iWavit Blast!" product bundles. (Note: You do not need WiFi or need to worry about network passwords at all during setup). Now when you press a button, you can have IR signals be emitted from the Lightbar instead of the iWavit Attachment. Why? The IR lightbar is about 10x stronger than a normal remote control. This means it can control almost anything in the same room. No more need to point at the device to control, and the RF range is about 300 ft. Pressing the HOME button in the lower left of the front screen will take you to the app called iWavit Flow. This app provides a convenient cover-flow way to navigate between all the many available iWavit apps. The "iWavit Cox" app is part of a family of iWavit Virtual Remotes for Major-Brand electronic devices. For those who wish to create their own custom Remote Controls, we have created the Ultimate Remote Control app called Tabula Rasa (or Tabula Rasa HD for the iPad).
