Tamil is a beautiful and ancient language spoken in various parts of the World, predominantly in South India, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia. It has so many alphabets (247 to be precise) and hard to learn.

iWriteTamil is a great and easy way to start reading and writing the basic alphabets that are the foundation of the Tamil language just by tracing over the letters.
The lessons are organized into multiple categories

You can select the category of the alphabet you want to begin learning to read or write.
Simply trace over the letters to practice your writing. Navigate through the letters easily using the previous and next buttons. Practice writing the Tamil alphabet using the color of your choice while listening to the sound of the letter. Practice each letter multiple times by erasing and writing over again and again. See and read all basic Tamil alphabets. Listen to the alphabet sound by clicking on each alphabet.
