Shortly after we purchased our Jeep, we noticed that people were suddenly very friendly. People we didn’t know were waving at us as we drove down the road. Our Jeep is nice, but it’s old and nothing extraordinary, so we found ourselves wondering why everyone was so friendly. We discovered the answer after joining an online Jeep forum where we saw a list of the Jeep Wave rules. Jeep owners have fun. Since the Jeep we purchased was an older model YJ and it has a lift and lots of dents, we were about mid-way up the Jeep chain of command, so other Jeep owners were waving at us out of respect. You’ve got to love that! Driving a Jeep has the added benefit of being part of an inside club. It’s a warm, fuzzy kind of feeling that you can’t help but want to embrace. The whole experience got us thinking. How many Jeep owners are oblivious to this cool club that they’re members of? Our goal is to spread the Jeep Wave word so all Jeep owners can feel the love. This App simplifies the code down to a smaller more manageable subset of the rules.
