A Jot is that great idea that you had on the bus. Its that awesome new song you heard at the restaurant. Its that new word you discovered from a friend. Jot gives you the freedom to learn, discover, and be inspired at your own leisure.
Who is Jot for?
Jot is for the curious minded. It is for people that question everything.
When should you use Jot?
Jot is for those moments throughout the day when you have a novel thought that you want to explore later. Whether this thought is an idea, a topic to research, a video to watch, a song to listen to, a website to visit, or a question to ponder.
Where should you use Jot?
Jot things down as you are experiencing life and you stumble upon something curious. Use Jot again as a discovery tool. Explore what you Jotted down earlier by tapping on the Jot. This will take you to the Jot exploration area. This allows you to quickly search some of the most knowledgeable places on the internet.
How and why should you use Jot?
Jot allows you to not be consumed by your thoughts throughout the day. You can Jot things down that you want to explore later. Then when you have more free time, you can do so.
Using Jot is a simple two step process.
1. Jot something down (optionally add a tag)
2. Explore it later. Jot allows you to explore your thoughts on your own time.
