Description
Kappa is an intelligent stock screener which is based on 50+ years of stock market statistics. Kappa will help you to build a profitable portfolio and outperform the market.
Kappa focuses on the Factor investing in value stocks, which is widely used by large institutional investors due to great diversification and lower risk. The core of the strategy is in simulating the market index. Routinely buying stocks that meet certain criteria is similar to creating your own market index. Such an index can easily outperform the almighty S&P 500 as it filters out overvalued stocks and includes only the most profitable and financially strong companies.
Kappa scans the market 5 times per minute and calculates 15 criteria for more than 5000 stocks from NYSE and NASDAQ. All stocks are rated by each of the criteria, ratings are then summed up into three ranks:
– Valuation
– Profitability
– Financial strength
You can use these specific ranks or the combination of them which is called Best rating. All stocks are assigned with overall rating:
- Strong buy
- Buy
- Consider
- Avoid
- Strong avoid
Ratings are calculated in real-time and assigned automatically by the intelligent ranking algorithm. Kappa not only uses classic fundamentals such as P/E, EV/EBITDA, ROE, Net margin, Quick ratio, etc, but also computes complex stability parameters, such as Altman Z-score and Piotroski F-score, to estimate the companys risk of bankruptcy and financial health.
According to the statistics and backtests, the strategy used in Kappa can yield as high as 18–20% annually, which is 6–8% above the market.
