Description
Karinding is a traditional musical instrument Sunda (West Java - Indonesia) made from the midrib kawung (palm midrib), and bamboo.
Before, Karinding used and played to accompany the lonely night, and it was also used to repel pests with sounds they produce.
In general Karinding beaten using your fingers (index finger) and use the mouth as a resonator to produce sound, by the way in at like percussion and tongue as a sound controller. There are several types of sound produced, with an empty mouth without using the breath and breathing, this will produce different sounds.
This tool can generate a distinctive sound of every man, the kind of melody, rhytm, and bass.
