Basic things work, needs update

Mostly works just fine for real time reporting, desperately needs needs a way for user control of x and y axis ranges in data plots without exporting to excel.

Kestrel Drop App

App works well with the Kestrel Drop. App allows the user to see the current conditions (the app supports all of the available Drop Sensors) and view the logged sensor readings. The app also provides derived readings (as an example, dew point is not directly measured but is calculated from the temperature and humidity readings.) The app also allows alerts to be set for the readings, which seems to require more battery power (have not tried the alerts). The user interface is easily used and understood. The app quickly connects to the Kestrel Drip and allows users to select specific Drops if you have more than one. My single complaint is that the reading units are not individually selectable, so you can select Imperial or Metric units. As an example, if you want to use Fahrenheit, you have to have to use inHg and cant use mbar.

Its going to be good, but not yet.

It works but only at a very minimal capacity. The connection is good with my 5500 and I am enjoying the remote data, but the app is extremely limited on what you can do with the data. Mainly I am talking about the graphing page. The scale of the graphs are so wide that all you end up with is a really long horizontal line and no trending indication. Hopefully in a future update we will be able to adjust our graph parameters like we can with the meters themselves. I really like NKs products and cant wait to see this app made to match the quality of the meters. looking forward to rating this five stars.
