There’s a new set of Kim emojis taking the internet by storm, but they’re not for a mere Kardashian. Why do we give these empty personalities so much attention? Timing couldn’t have been more ripe for media outlets to pick-up on the story given North Korea had only recently broken some important sanctions, resulting in outlets like the NYTimes, BBC, and The Next Web writing about the emoji set. In a collaboration between the award winning app studio Tiny Hearts (makers of Next Keyboard), and Ben Gillin, the Kimunji keyboard was made.
