 This work is my second app; stylistically and thematically, it links in directly to its predecessor "planet distortion." It is therefore the next small part in the puzzle; the plan is to expand this series continuously in the future. For me, the photos enclosed are a further step towards a form of expression which is entirely my own. At the same time, it is less important for me to experiment in terms of form, although chance also always plays a role. My preference is to work the way that authors or cartoonists often do: always using the same means in a defined frame. However, some things are always new – like the stories that I tell with my photos, and also the stimulus that my work sends out. All photos are analogue, taken by my old medium format camera, outdoors, in natural light and without digital processing. Also available there are the printed editions of my photo books, as well as fine art prints and a few more things about me and my work. 50 abstract photographs are included in this app, with my sincere invitation to you to submerge into my world of pictures! Die vorliegende Arbeit ist meine zweite App, stilistisch und thematisch knüpft sie direkt an den Vorgänger „planet distortion“ an. Und ist damit das nächste Teilchen im Puzzle, in Zukunft soll diese Reihe kontinuierlich erweitert werden. Die enthaltenen Fotos sind für mich ein weiterer Schritt hin zu meiner ganz eigenen Ausdrucksweise. Dabei geht es mir weniger darum, in formaler Hinsicht zu experimentieren, obwohl der Zufall immer auch eine Rolle spielt. Vielmehr arbeite ich so wie oftmals Autoren oder Comiczeichner: Immer mit den gleichen Mitteln in einem definierten Rahmen. Immer neu sind aber die Geschichten, die ich mit meinen Fotos erzähle. Und auch die Impulse, die meine Arbeit sendet. Alle Fotos sind analog mit meiner alten Mittelformatkamera aufgenommen, im Freien und mit natürlichem Licht und ohne digitale Bearbeitung.
