In one application you can convert measurements, determine how to substitute different sizes and shapes of pans, even how to replace one ingredient with another. Just what I was looking for...

Excellent tool - I brought my recipe books from the UK to the USA, and needed a way to convert weight to volume as everyone over here uses cups to measure. What really makes this app stand out is its easy to use and allows you to choose the ingredient you are measuring, as there is no one straight conversion of weight to volume - 1 cup of butter does not weigh the same as one cup of sugar. The other apps I saw either only convert weight to weight, or dont give different ingredients when converting weight to volume. It has a bunch of other features too - suggested substitutions for ingredients and information on pots and cake tin sizes. Ive only removed a star because there is such an extensive list of ingredients but no alphabet at the side to jump down the list to the ingredient you want to choose, so it can be a bit time consuming. Hopefully that will change with an update.
