Description
KoreaTaximeter application was created in order to prevent fraud and accidents that may occur during a taxi ride.
* The taxi fare system used in this app was created based on data provided by the Korea National Joint Conference of Taxi Association.
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Map service using wireless Internet access. Additional data charges may apply, depending on your service provider.

The taxi fare system is based on the collected data of the "Korea National Joint Conference for Taxi Association". There may be a different fee structure applied by municipalities for up to 20%. In rural areas, the combined fees do not apply multiple premiums (40% ~ 63%). Errors can occur in approximating taxi fare, depending on GPS signals and other variables. This application is provided for information purposes only and shall not be responsible in case of legal disputes.

Both general and premium taxi fare may be approximated through this application.
Press on the premium button to calculate premium fare.
You can run other applications while using the taximeter.
You can compare the current and the last route taken through the map.
You can use the taxi memo function to send the information to a friend in case of emergency.
Current position and note may be delivered through SMS.

You can query taxi usage on a monthly basis (number of times boarded, total fare paid)
You can compare routes used in the past through the map, or look at and compare different routes.
You can send route and fare information via email.
[-] Password Lock
The password is required to view the history and to cancel SOS mode (Emergency Notification).
[-] Alert
You can use the emergency message delivery function once you activate it from settings.
Emergency messages can be delivered via email or text.
If you activate the "shake for emergency notification," the phone will shake if it detects an external shock. (Shake detection activates only when the application is running.)
If you activated the emergency alarm by mistake, then click on the cancellation button within the allotted time.
If the emergency alarm is not manually cancelled, the application will automatically send the phones actual position and note to the saved emergency contact.
The emergency alarm will continue to function in the background.
However this and other programs running in the background may be terminated by your OS if it lacks memory.

韓国に行くと必ず1回はタクシーでボッタクリ(바가지)されるのでGPSで料金計算してくれるアプリがないか探していました。まさにピッタリなアプリを見つけてビックリしました！ 韓国のタクシーは、法外な請求はしてこないのですが、ボッタクリかそうでないのか判断しにくい微妙な金額をしてくるんですよね。。まだ韓国に慣れていない頃、初乗り料金で1万ウォン取られたことがあります(泣)。。いまはだいぶ慣れましたけど、それでももしかしたらボッタくられてる？と感じることがよくあり、タクシーに乗るたびに不安に感じて、後味も悪い思いをしています。 このアプリがあれば、適正料金かそうでないかの判別がしやすくなり、ボッタクリの被害を減らすことができそうです！ 今度韓国に行くときは使わせていただきます！
