The program contains the names of about 250 herbs, seasonings and spicy ingredients (focusing on Europe) in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian, including scientific names.
When you enter in the name of a herb or seasoning in one of the five given languages, you will get a short and precise description of the most important information regarding this product and its preparation or use in the kitchen.
The text is accompanied by one or more photos per entry.
Culinary Advisor
The Star system from 1 to 5 shows in one instant, which enjoyment value that a food product has in Europe. The highest rating is given to those products which are unique – due to taste, quality and/or the type of production.
Search functions
You can search in “Herbs and Condiments” by product name or chapter.

Das ist mal eine wirklich nützliche App! Sie liefert sämtliche Informationen zu den bekanntesten Kräutern die man in der Küche nutzt und Fotos dazu.Super!!! Sie ist in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt und ich konnte sie schon in Spanien und England bestens zum Einsatz bringen.
Sehr schönes Kräuter(wörter)buch
Liebevoll zusammengestellte Kräutersammlung. Sehr schön, um Informationen rund um die bekanntesten Kräuter nachzuschlagen. Die Informationen könnten allerdings etwas umfassender sein. Eine App ausschließlich für Kräuter muss da meiner Meinung nach mehr bieten. Schaut euch mal "Rezepte" an, dort wird teilweise deutlich mehr über einzelne Kräuter gesagt. So liegt der Mehrwert dieser App eher auf der Möglichkeit, Kräuter in anderen Sprachen nachschlagen zu können. Ich wünsche mir noch eine erweiterte Volltextsuche, etwa nach den Eigenschaften der Kräuter. Eine rechtsseitige alphabetische Scrollbar in den Kapiteln wäre hilfreich.

die guten Bilder helfen Kräuter einfach zu identifizieren. Ein kleines, sehr nützliches visuelles Lexikon für die Hosentasche.
Besser gleich den FOOD GUIDE laden
Wer sich generell für Lebensmittel interessiert und einen umfassenden Einkaufsguide für die Hosentasche sucht ist mit dem FOOD GUIDE aus der selben App-Schmiede besser bedient. Da steht das gleiche drin plus 17 (!) weitere Kategorien von Fisch und Fleisch bis Würzmittel. Und das ganze dann für € 2,99 anstatt für € 1,59 pro Einzel-App - da freut sich das Schnäppchenjäger-Herz!
Gut aber...
...es fehlen noch Tips wie man das frische Gewürz verwendet und womit es zusammen past, dann gebe ich auch den letzten Stern.
Nett für die Küche
Sehr übersichtlich gestaltet und mit interessantem Inhalt versetzte Info-App. Auch ich würde mir wünschen, dass es einige Tipps zum zubereiten gäbe. Allem in allem aber super!!
